RE EOD

EOD—This special edition was created through a collaboration with the guys who've 'been there and done that' in bomb disposal.
 
More than 650 EOD Sappers have been Killed whilst carrying out the hazardous work of Bomb Disposal Worldwide since the end of WWII. Many have been injured, and many carry physical and mental injuries today.
 
The RE EOD piece has been designed in Remembrance of those who have fallen and to Remember that many still carry the scars of their Military service in Royal Engineers Bomb Disposal.
 
This piece features a RE EOD Bomb with 'Royal Engineers' through the centre.
 
Blue Tigers Eye and Red Turquoise beads represent the Royal Engineers' Corps colours. Black Hematite Lava Beads separated the Corps colours from 2 Red/Orange Imperial Jasper beads, chosen to represent the explosions involved in RE EOD's work. These beads are spaced with a selection of hematite and stainless steel spacers.
 
This wristwear is handcrafted with carefully chosen material to perfectly represent RE EOD. These Brass HANG 6 Icon skulls contain British 'Black Bullet Cases—300 BLK' collected in Afghanistan by British soldiers after firefights with the enemy.
 
In some of the images, you'll see cut-up pieces of Alloy. These are decommissioned parts from a BL-755 Cluster bomb sent to HANG 6 from crews operating in Bosnia to be processed for a limited edition X—EOD watch by the incredible NITE watches (this material features in the watch crown inlay).
